Cape du Couedic Lighthouse, Kangaroo Island
Built from local stone, the Cape du Couedic lighthouse overlooks the Southern Ocean; now that a lighthouse keeper is no longer needed, visitors can rent one of the keeper's cottages to get away from it all.
