Rainforest Tree, The Daintree
Our Daintree Discovery Tour guide, Adrian, was full of interesting tidbits about the Wet Tropics. We saw many very tall palms, and some of the things that look liked vines were actually climbing palm trees (one is the source of rattan, while others have spiky hooks that help them climb their hosts to reach sunlight).
