Our lunch at Mama Mel's, the restaurant at Rose Inn in Rincón, was one of the best meals we ate on Bonaire. We told the proprietor that we wanted oxtail and a tamarind agua fresca, and he recommended funchi (the local version of polenta), plus a salad and a local coconut sweet. It was all delicious and plentiful, enough for two hungry divers, and cost less than $25!
