Stern of the Vasa. Stockholm
The Vasa is a 17th c. Swedish warship that sank on its maiden voyage and was raised more than 300 years later. The waters of Stockholm Harbor preserved its amazing woodwork, and the restored vessel is now on display in the Vasa Museum.
