My favorite temples are the ones overrun by trees, and the "Tomb Raider temple" (more properly known at Ta Prohm) is justly famed for this. It was built by a 12th century king, Jayavarman VII, to honor his mother, and the over-exuberance of greenery was even better at his other family temples....but more on those later.
