Floating Market (Willemstad)
Despite its semi-arid climate, Curacao's cuisine benefits from its proximity to South America, since fruit, vegetable and fish vendors from Venezuela come to sell their wares at Willemstad's floating market. This is a view of the boats (and extra produce); the goods are displayed on the other side, facing the quai.
