While wandering around Kensington, we happened upon the Albert Memorial. In addition to the gilded statue of the prince consort under its ornate canopy, there are marble statues with people and animals representing four continents (Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas). It's practically impossible not to stop and examine them all.
