We spent a week on Grand Cayman's lesser known middle sister, Cayman Brac. Despite a few mishaps (including unseasonably windy weather, dive ladder bruises, food poisoning and jellyfish stings), we had a fun week of fins, feathers and more.
Hits:- Eating at local restaurants, especially:
- Staying at Carib Sands (particularly Stumble Inn)
- Diving with Brac Scuba Shack
- Renting a hybrid from 4DS
- Getting most groceries from Market Place (plus soda from Billy's Supermarket, pasta and sauce from Crossroads General Store and fresh bulla from Pioneer Bakery)
- Birding in the Cayman Brac Parrot Reserve in the later afternoon (4-6:30p)
Misses:
- Jamaican patties from Crossroads General Store (which made Jess sick)
- Cinnamon rolls from Pioneer Bakery (which didn't taste as good as they looked)
