Thurston Lava Tube, Hawaii Volcanoes N.P., Big Island
There were many cool root curtains in the Thurston Lava Tube, like this one near the end of the lit portion. (We wore sensible shoes and brought flashlights, so we were able to explore part of the unlit section, too, but it was impossible to photograph.)
