While we didn't neglect the ubiquitous pasteis de nata (custard tarts), B & A also introduced us to other wonderful Portuguese treats, like bolas de Berlim (filled doughnuts). Admittedly, we chose the chocolate-ganache filled variety, rather than the standard egg custard version.
