The lush Botanical Garden of the Virgin Islands was planted among the ruins of the 18th century Estate St. George sugar plantation. In addition to flowers, the grounds contain outdoor ovens, cottages (some now housing seashells and archaeological finds), and even a graveyard for the Danish masters and their slaves.
