Jer with a Red Tegu, Crococun Zoo
Jer took the proffered opportunity to hold a red tegu a hefty South American lizard that came to live at Crococun Zoo, probably after being abandoned as a pet. They store fat in their necks to support them during hibernation, but don't hibernate in Mexico's warm climate.
