Christ Church Cathedral was founded in 1028, and while the church itself is beautiful, some of its most interesting features are in the crypt. I rather liked these statues of Charles I and Charles II with the royal seal of the English monarch, they were quite atmospheric. (So were Tom & Jerry, the mummified cat and rat, but my photos didn't turn out; you can see it here instead.)
