On our way to a tour and tasting at Taylor's, we stopped to admire the view of Porto from the other side of the Douro River. On our tour, we learned that these boats were once used to bring port from the vineyards in the Douro valley to the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia for aging (but now they're used for river tours).
