We spent a week in the Iberian Peninsula in December 2015, concentrating on Lisbon (including Sintra and Belem) and Porto, with a stopover in Madrid. It had everything you'd expect from European vacation - history, culture, architecture, food and wine - plus friendly people and reasonable prices. If you haven't been to Portugal, you should go; if you have, you should go back!
