Barcelona's Hospital de la Santa Creu i de Sant Pau is the first and only hospital we've ever visited as a tourist attraction. Another of the city's Art Nouveau masterpieces, it was designed by Domènech i Montaner and remains a working medical center. (This is one of the smaller side buildings.) If being surrounded by beauty speeds healing, then this is the place to be treated!
