Jess really wanted to visit the pyramids at Dahshur, as they are less famous (and thus less touristy) than the others. This is a view from the Bent Pyramid, with the Red Pyramid in the distance. We had the Bent Pyramid to ourselves, and there were only a few other visitors at the Red Pyramid. (We went inside the Red Pyramid, but didn't take any photos as it was pitch black -- see the link for pictures of the passageway and chamber.)
