Abu Simbel consists of two temples: the Great Temple of Ramses II to the left, and the smaller Temple of Hathor to the right (which Ramses II built in honor of his favorite wife, Nefertari). While the Great Temple is much grander, the decorations in the Temple of Hathor are lovelier.
