Temple of Kom Ombo

The Temple of Kom Ombo is perched on the bank of the Nile, and floods and earthquakes have taken their toll on the building. Also, there are traces of early Coptic Christians who took shelter in the temple, carving crosses into the pillars and leaving soot stains on the ceilings.
