We went to Egypt and Jordan in October 2008 with our friends Lori and Brian. We packed a lot into 9 days: a Nile cruise to Luxor, Edfu and Kom Ombo; a visit to Abu Simbel; a whirlwind tour of Cairo and the pyramids; floating in the Dead Sea; visits to biblical sites in the Jordan Valley; and a day in Petra.
